Various "International Letter Campaigns for Tobacco Control"
are organised through the American Anti-Tobacco group Globalink.
Current on-line petitions can be accessed via the link petition.globalink.org. Please sign a petition now, there are over 70 to pick from. Some are several years old, but they are still open for you to sign. Closed petitions are listed at the foot of the page. A petition for Smokefree Bars in Australia was previously online. Many thanks, over 1000 people signed. The petition was sponsored by ASH and was sent to all Australian premiers, opposition leaders and health ministers (except Tas and Qld). Please feel free to distribute the above link amongst your friends and mailing lists so everyone can add their name to the petitions. |
